Invitation to Participate in Research on COVID-19 Restrictions and Substance Use

The purpose of this study is to investigate if the lockdown is the cause for some individuals’ recurring use of alcohol or elevated drinking patterns due to stress. The duration of participation will take approximately 15 – 20 minutes to answer the questions in the survey. Your participation in this research is voluntary. Your decision whether or not to participate will not affect your current or future relations with Purdue University Global, LinkedIn, Facebook, New Freedom Recovery Center, Hope 4 Inc., Power, Strive Health of Greensburg, Step by Step Support LLC. This study is also not affiliated with any of the facilities listed above.

I am conducting research through Purdue University Global to obtain a Master’s Degree in Psychology. 

The purpose of the research is to investigate how the COVID 19 lockdown has affected individuals with alcohol use problems and alcohol use disorders.
